Peer review:

Carly at all times has been professional and pragmatic and stuck her ground extraordinarily well, without being personal or bombastic. She was equally nice to every person in my team, who was on the other side, and we have recommended work to her when we are in a conflict situation. Carly works extremely hard and is very conscientious and has an excellent grasp of the law, as well as a very likeable manner.

Settlement for an unmarried mother of a billionaire's child

Carly recently acted for an unmarried mother of a young child, whose father is from a very high profile international family and heir to a billion pound international business empire. The case involved heavily contested proceedings concerning the arrangements for the time the child was to spend with his father and the financial support that is to be provided under Schedule 1 Children Act 1989.

Carly was successful in securing urgent, ex-parte orders securing the mother an child’s occupation of a property owned by the father and negotiating a substantial financial settlement which leaves the mother receiving support for the child at a level commensurate with the highest reported Schedule 1 award.
