Peer review:

I have worked with Lisette on a number of occasions. She is delightful and utterly charming to work with, at the same time professional. She is quick to understand her client's situation and identify the areas where they need advice and support. I would recommend Lisette without hesitation.

Private client review:

Lisette assisted me with the financial consent order for my divorce. She gives clear, pragmatic and sensible advice, delivered in a personable and sensitive way. Lisette was the second lawyer I had approached for advice, after finding the first was focused on fighting (and running up large costs) rather than finding a compromise which is what I was looking for. From our first conversation Lisette was clear on how things could plan out, and what a "good" resolution looked like. This enabled me to progress matters swiftly with my ex-husband and reach a position which we were both happy with, with minimal costs. I have subsequently recommended clients of mine to Lisette, where they have required an excellent quality, but pragmatic and efficient lawyer, and I will continue to do so.

Co-worker review:

Lisette is one of the most diligent colleagues I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She leaves no stone unturned and is highly professional yet approachable with all her clients, striving to achieve the est solution possible. It is a privilege and an honour to call her my co-worker.

Peer review:

Lisette is a brilliant family lawyer. She is intelligent, knowledgeable and able to cut through to the key issues in any case, however complex, whilst also being on top of the detail. She is particularly well known for her international work, being the Founder and Chair of the EU Maintenance Regulation Working Group. She prepares her cases immaculately and is pleasure to work with/be instructed by. However, Lisette is not only a “legal brain”, she also has excellent client-care skills, helping her clients through one of the most difficult times in their lives with emotional maturity and sensitivity. She always has her clients’ best interests in mind, and will seek to help them find a compromise where possible, but will be ready to “fight their corner” in court if none can be found. I have frequently recommended Lisette in the past and will continue to do so going forwards.

Pre nuptial agreement

I assisted an international couple residing in London in their early 30s and 40s, planning to have a family to prepare a pre nuptial agreement. One party had a significant income and complex assets to include carry shares, trust assets, an interest in a foreign company and property in London (pre acquired and funded by trust assets). The value of the carry shares was unknown but maybe £ms in future. The agreement needed to compliment the parties' tax planning (connected with the one parties domicile) and be fair and capable of being upheld in England and Wales whilst identifying and ring fencing non marital assets.
