Established a family investment company structure worth over US $2bn
We have recently established a family investment company structure to facilitate the investment in private equity funds, real estate and financial investments in collaboration with the family office and appointed lawyers and tax advisers. We have created a substantial family office structure involving numerous Jersey trusts, a number of private trust companies and overlying purpose trusts, property and asset holding vehicles and an operating company for a high profile Middle Eastern family.
The structure was established to give oversight of the family’s overseas assets and for estate planning purposes, with the family choosing Jersey due to its secure environment and excellent reputation. The family office structure holds global real estate and significant investment portfolios/private equity investment and requires us to administer structures in multi-jurisdictions. We provide directors, registered office and company secretarial services, full administration, bookkeeping and accountancy services for the structure, which is currently valued in excess of US $2bn.
Crestbridge are currently in the process of refinancing certain assets in the portfolio in a Sharia compliant manner in association with the family office, tax and Sharia advisers.
