Establishing a Jersey private investment company which holds assets in excess of US$1bn
Having built a relationship with a high profile Middle Eastern family over a number of years, Paul and Crestbridge were selected to establish a Jersey private investment company in order to consolidate the family’s international assets. As part of the process they have established numerous subsidiaries in order to hold private equity, direct and indirect real estate assets and other investments. This has required them to take on the administration of structures administered by competitor service providers in order to complete the consolidation process and provide the family with full reporting services and visibility over asset class exposures.
Paul and Crestbridge are now in the process of establishing multiple trust and foundation structures to hold interests in the private investment company for each branch of the family, which has involved multiple workshops with family members and the creation of separate classes of shares to facilitate control and trading of interests in the private investment company.
They provide directors, administration, accounting, reporting and transaction management services to the structure which holds assets in excess of US$1bn and regularly travel to meet with the family members.
