I cannot speak highly enough of Paula. Not only is she a well respected lawyer and recognised as one of the best in her field, she is a superb leader. Paula inspires her team to deliver exceptional client service, expert advice, and to be the best they can be. She is a strategic thinker, whilst retaining the ability to be ‘in the detail’ when needed; a skill I have not seen very often before! Private client review:

Paula, took on a difficult case that two other law firms did not. Her advice from the outset was very practical and pragmatic. She was expert at dealing with the lawyers representing the 'other side' and her responses to their letters were masterful, polite, yet very, very firm, leaving the opposing side in no doubt what the situation was. She also was more up to date in terms of current legal cases and case law relating to my issue. The other area of Paula's approach to her work, which I greatly appreciated, is that she listens well and take a very collaborative approach, she considered my ideas and also was very comfortable telling me when my suggestions might not be such a good idea. She has also created a great support team around her and this is the icing on the cake.

Private client review:

My case was complicated, protracted and very stressful for me and my family. I was so fortunate to have Paula and her team representing me. I felt supported and almost "cared for " the whole way through. It felt as though I had a guiding hand through the intricacies of a minefield of the processes of law. Hooray for Paula, what a star- professionally and just the right amount of personal input, she got the right balance. Irwin Mitchell are so lucky to have her! They should be very proud of her and her team. Huge thank you.

Private client review:

I cannot thank Paula enough for the all of her hard work on my case. She was unfailing in her efforts to make sure we achieved a great outcome. She is totally approachable, understanding and I always felt reassured by her knowledge and commitment to our issues. I felt very lucky that she fought our case for us and will always be grateful to her. I almost felt sad that the fight was over it meant no more chats with her. I must also mention her team, absolutely fantastic and always polite and friendly. Fabulous: thank you.

Private client review:

Paula has exceptional knowledge and experience in her field which generates great confidence and reassurance at such a difficult time. Contentious probate is a highly charged and emotional area that often involves the breakdown in family relationships. The outcome having a significant impact upon a person's life and that of their family. Paula understands this and is hugely empathetic and personally supportive. Placing herself in the client's shoes whilst at the same time providing absolute clarity as to the position in law. Paula's greatest strengths are her approachable demeanour and accessibility. Being willing to speak to clients and guide them through matters at their pace and level of understanding. Having Paula represent my family and me has allowed us to sleep at night knowing that she is doing her very best for all of us.

Private client review:

I first met with Paula at her Leeds office she was and still remains for me absolutely first class. Detailed in her approach and yet simple in explanations of situations and suggested course of action. When I left Paula, it felt like I had been given the all clear of a potential life changing disease by a Doctor, it was just such a huge relief to meet with Paula and I cannot recommend her enough. You will not be disappointed with Paula, unless you’re in a case against her.
