Peer review:

Rob is a great advisor. He is technical, but beyond that, he is highly commercial and goes the extra mile to find solutions that work for clients - a true problem solver. If you want a lawyer who will take the time to understand you / your business and then work with you as an equal then I would recommend Rob without hesitation.

I can sum Rob up in a few words: a gentleman, a genius and a valued advisor. I have known Rob for a number of years. He is brilliant at what he does. He is approachable and very easy to work with an incisive mind. He works very hard with you to resolve the matter at hand that he has quickly and granularly understood and fundamentally grasped. As with all City law firms he charges City rates BUT I have found Rob to be incredibly fair when it comes to fees. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Robert is a Partner and the Head of Private Client at Druces. He has significant experience with UK and international tax planning, trust matters, probates, tax disclosures and disputes for banks, high net worth individuals, trustees, international companies, UK collection societies and partnerships. 

Robert specialises in complex tax planning for international and domestic clients.  He leads Druces’ International Wealth & Fiduciary team which specialises in securing low profile successful outcomes for high profile family offices and their interests.  He also has expertise in dealing with copyright in relation to film and television directors and the UK representative body of those directors.

Robert acts for trustee companies around the world with an emphasis on trustees based in the jurisdictions of the BVI, Switzerland, Mauritius, Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man. 

In addition to being qualified in England and Wales, Robert was admitted as a solicitor of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in 2005.  He is also a member of STEP and the Association of Taxation Technicians.
