Peer review:

I worked with Thomas on a fairly acrimonious financial remedy case in 2015/2016 (which also involved child arrangements). I found him to be professional at all times, courteous and thorough; skills which I feel enabled us to both work towards a common goal and achieve a fair settlement for our respective clients in a timely manner without the need for Court intervention. I am not able to specifically review his fee levels or the advice given as I was an opponent solicitor on the said case.

Peer review:

I regularly refer clients to Thomas for mediation - he has a very good track record and excellent interpersonal skills, and superb technical knowledge and detail.

Client work includes:

  • Acted for a wife in financial relief proceedings involving dividing a property portfolio of over twenty properties owned under multiple business structures.
  • Acting for a wife in a high profile divorce case involving multiple interim applications for interim maintenance, freezing injunctions and disclosure of assets. The matrimonial assets were distributed across numerous jurisdictions in different tax havens and countries throughout Europe.
  • As mediator in a successful mediation between an unmarried couple who had assets of around £30 million, children and had been in a long term relationship. This resulted in them dividing their assets, and resolving financial matters without having contested Court proceedings.
  • Successfully opposing attempts by a spouse to try and secure jurisdiction for their divorce in England and Wales for their financial benefit in divorce proceedings.
